"The Anatomy of Learning" Joint Meeting of the Anatomical Society and British Association of Clinical Anatomists at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, University of Sussex. 19th-21st July 2016.


 

Keynote Speaker: We are really pleased to welcome Mr Phil Thomas from Nuffield Health, Consultant Urologist, one of the UK's leading surgeons in Reconstructive Urological Surgery and Gender Reassignment Surgery to talk on the anatomy of gender reassignment surgery.

The meeting will have three themes:

  Sounding out the future of learning: Ultrasound in Anatomy Education (Tuesday)

Richard Drake (Cleveland Clinic, USA), Andrew Dilley (BSMS, UK), Adam Taylor (University of Lancaster, UK), Michael Griksaitis (University of Durham, UK)

  Clinical Anatomy (Wednesday)

BACA will host a range of clinical anatomical oral and poster communications selected from submitted abstracts

  Structural and functional brain changes as a result of learning (Thursday)

And two workshops: Social Media and Near Peer Teaching
